A New Kombatant Approaches!

The Bloodthirsty Skarlet will join Mortal Kombat's colorful cast of killers!

Originating as a coding glitch for Kitana in Mortal Kombat 2, Skarlet is familiar to die-hard fans of the series.   As of June 21, she will be available on the X-Box Live marketplace for 400 Microsoft Points ($5).

The magnitude of her moves, which apparently involve even more blood-splattering techniques, are sure to blend seamlessly into the current maelstrom of Midway mayhem.  With Skarlet's exceptionally brutal and blood-spewing move set, it's difficult to tell whose blood you're covered in!  Watch her story!

  2. $5 per character is just too much. I would be fine paying that for two characters, but one is pushing it.

I wonder if she even has a unique ending?

  4. looool Banned in Aussie-land.

Looked up on the character, though. Is pretty cool, and for a first not really that feminine.

  5. Interesting character, but some games get banned in certain countries, it's sad.

  6. Before this "DLC" came out I saw a video a few weeks back showing she was already on the disc...so your just paying to unlock her.

  7. As a fighter games enthusiast, can't agree with DLC characters. IMO, beauty of fighting game is because it's 1 vs 1. Equal conditions, just the ability, technique and strategy. Even when a character is overpower, well, you can choose him/her too, as your opponent! But when its becomes an DLC... MAYBE it becomes like a character lvl 80 vs another lvl 40 in a game like WoW. Money shouldn't have influence in fighting games, IMO.
But she is hot. And brutal.

  8. Yea i agree it seems kinda lame to have dlc fighters. maybe as a pack later on but not just trickling out, forcing people to buy the newest, and enevatible best, fighter.
