Minecraft: Turn Hours into Minutes!

Einstein stated that things should be ''as simple as possible, but not any simpler."   If Einstein played video games, he might not have shared that frame of reference.  Although, as far as first impressions go, Minecraft looks about as simple as video games get. 


And although graphically,  this game looks like it has the production value of any 3D game made last century, Minecraft  surprisingly has quite a bit of depth...  and in more ways than one.

Production of Minecraft began in May of 2009 with Markus 'Notch' Persson. Notch was a programmer and developer for companies like Jalbum and King.com, and was one of the founders of Wurm Online;  a very exclusive MMORPG.  After a year, the playable alpha version, and later the beta, were released for download on www.minecraft.net.  Since it's conception in 2009, it has been persistently updated, and the game engine is constantly being modified and improved.

    The stuff minecraft comes out with is just crazy, but I'll always enjoy Best Gamers review of the game.

    Personally, I love this game. I recommend it to anyone who loved Legos as a kid.

    I don't get the appeal of Minecraft. It's like people that build model trains and set up elaborate tracks. Doesn't sound like fun at all to me, and yes I've tried it I dug some holes and punched trees then got bored.
